My recommendation: Any young adults out there looking for a thriller?

Lizzie and Aiden stopped speaking over the summer and now Lizzie is missing. The police question Aiden but he insists that he doesn't know anything. Soon Aiden discovers that he didn't know Lizzie as well as he thought he did. Follow Me Back explores the dangers of the Internet and the worst case scenarios that can happen.
I believe this is a book that every teenager should read. While the exact story could be considered a little farfetched, it is a great example of what could happen if you go to meet someone you met online. Now I am not saying that every situation would end up like the story and I am far from the scaremongering that does surround the Internet, but children need to know the dangers are probable. It is also a lesson in how data I never really gone just because you deleted it.
This is the first time I have read Nicci Cloke and I cannot wait to delve into her other books. This book was so good that if I didn't have to put the book down to deal with a baby, I would have finished it in one sitting. This book was unpredictable. It had twists and turns everywhere. I love that in a book. This book did have a slight 'Gone Girl' feel to it. It honestly is where I thought the story was headed.
My only criticism is the changing of narrator half way through and then the chopping and changing. I get why the author did it, to better tell the story, but to me it was off putting. It just didn't really work for me. If there had been more consistency with the narration, this book would have scored 5 stars.
