APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Bestselling thriller writer Harlan Coben sure knows how to sink his claws in. The opening scenes of Fool Me Once are nail-biting and explosive. Former Army pilot Maya has just buried her husband, Joe, but her grief is tainted by suspicion, anger and anxiety for her two-year-old daughter. Meanwhile, Maya remains a suspect in Joe’s murder. Coben artfully drops bits and pieces of information, keeping us guessing at the truth. He tempers the suspense with moving portraits of Maya’s sustaining relationships.

Good read
Some of the events are a bit implausible. But overall a good read. Hectic pace. I have not yet seen the mini series.
Good read but disappointing
Certainly a different story angle. I didn't read the book before this so the characters were new to me. What a lot of nasty characters!
I always skip over boring lengthy descriptions of guns, weapons and military hardware. Another hate is finding the book end many pages earlier than expected and then get the first chapter of the author's next book. I feel cheated every time. If I want to read the next book I'll buy it, I do not read the teasers so it is wasted space.
Predictable ending and I'm glad the character is gone.
Binged this one in 2 days
Easy read that you can’t put down but definitely recommend reading before you watch the Netflix series
