Formation of Demos and Other Disturbances in the Left Sector (Conflict of the Political Left‪)‬

The owner of A1 Television Ramkoski could not wish for a better company last Wednesday in Stone Bridge Hotel than Radmila Sekerinska, Nikola Popovski, Gjorgji Spasov, Ljupco Georgievski, Tito Petkovski, and Nano Ruzin. It was an elite company composed of former ministers, assembly chairpersons, and even a former prime minister. Some might believe that this elite company had gathered to form a Masonic lodge. They have all the predispositions: capital, powerful friends, connections with the media. However, they had decided to form a political circle, which some people called a "stillborn", others competition to the SDSM, and even the underground of the VMRO-DPMNE, while others, like Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski, wisely concluded that this was just "another trick of Mr. Crvenkovski's". This is just a think-tank NGO that will test the politics of the social democrats before they get an official timbre, the founders promptly replied. They named the think-tank "Demos". If this had been their intention, then why don't they develop the "Progress" think-tank that also belongs to the left wing, the concerned people from SDSM HQs asked. There is not an answer to this question. However, A1 TV Station, whose owner was also sitting among the founders of "Demos", called this organization a movement that should help for Macedonia's access to EU.
