Lara is finally happy. She’s working hard towards a career she loves, she’s living with her best friend and she’s in love with a really great guy. So of course that’s the moment when the guy who left her suddenly in the middle of the night turns up as her patient in the ED. She hasn’t seen him in like seven years, but she certainly hasn’t stopped thinking about him.
This was a nice, easy read with the whole “second chance” trope going on. There was also the whole love triangle and “will they, won’t they” back and forth between the two love interests. There was lots of chemistry and sexual tension though the constant back and forth and mood swings from Levi did kind of get to me a bit after a while.
I did enjoy it and with the little sneak peek you get to one of the other books it has convinced me to add another to my TBR.
