A mesmerising, magical, enchanting tale that I could not put down. Even if I wanted to.
Great read.
This book is incredible. It paints a vivid picture in my mind of everything that takes place, I love the magic system that’s been shown and all the different types of people that are in Ridmark’s group. The only thing that felt off was Ridmark and Calliande falling in love. I understand that this is a book set to be written in medieval times, but I just preferred them as friends. I’m willing to look past it though, so long as any future books I read in this series are this good.
