Thank you. My Great-Aunt recently died and 7 of us attended her service. The cost of a VERY simple 20 mins church service, then to the crematorium (no flowers, no music, no program - you get my point ) cost a whopping $12,000.00 and it really got me thinking. I had always wanted an Eco friendly card board box and cremation, and now will research further into the 'direct cremation' method that I would prefer. Your factual words have been an amazing help. From making my own coffin, to having me delivered straight to the crematorium and then having a simple gathering (after the cremation) when my ashes will be scattered, your research is brilliant.
