Some pictures paint a grim story…
For wily witch Zoe Clarke, life is all about balance. Her independent news business has taken off, giving her the freedom to report on Moon Grove’s most overlooked stories — at the cost of quality time with her magically maturing young twins.
But when a paranormal travel blogger disappears while chronicling Moon Grove’s notoriously secretive gargoyle community, leaving nothing but a chilling selfie behind, Zoe’s tempted yet again to stick her wand where it doesn’t belong.
Between the blogger’s final perplexing picture and an increasingly cold-blooded response from the gargoyles, Zoe realizes cameras don’t lie, but someone is — especially when she recognizes someone lurking in the background.
Can Zoe track down the missing writer? Or will she be the next to vanish in a flash?
Gargoyles and Graves is the twelfth book in the Magic and Mystery series of witch cozy mysteries. If you like guarded gargoyles, bewitching bloggers, and magical murder mysteries, then you’ll love this lighthearted twelfth entry in Lily Webb’s spellbinding series.

Lily Webb review gargoyles and graves ‘Magic and Mystery’ series book 12
This is so difficult to say but l couldn’t finish the book, l reread the first 8 chapters over 4 times to try and get into the plot but for some reason l just couldn’t which l really can’t understand. I kept coming up feeling frustrated and annoyed for lack of a better word I have read Lily’s ‘Visions and Victims’ series and l love it l bought each book as soon as they come out so l think it’s on me. I’m not sure if it’s because l’ve just jumped in at book 12 of this series’s ‘Magic and Mystery’ and if that’s why because l just found myself really out of place in the story that l just couldn’t connect with. l tried following Zoe MFC l think it was the disconnect with her that kept blocking my ability to continue.
Again l think this is on me as l’ve loved Lily’s interesting writing style, quirky character developments, humorous plot delivers the whole bundle in her ‘vision and victims’ series.
