Ok so we’re like 3 or 4 books into the series at this stage, right? We are getting a lot more into the stories and getting a lot more background knowledge about why the characters are the way they are. So that makes it a lot more interesting.
We finally make it to the fourth kingdom and see what Rip is ruling over, which I enjoyed.
Like the other books there is a lot going on, lots of moving pieces to keep track of. Throughout the book I found myself not really caring about the queen of the sixth, even though k knew we must be hearing about her story for a reason. We finally got that reason at the end, and it definitely made up for it haha.
I also liked seeing Auren (is that her name??) coming into her own a bit more and taking a bit of her power back.
If you have made it this far into the series then you know you’re gonna read it anyway…
