Publisher Description
The goal doesn’t count until it crosses the line.
Captain of the Dartmouth Cobras hockey team, Dominik Mason, believes his team can make a damn good playoff run. He and his men won’t stop fighting until they win the ultimate prize. There’s no doubt when it comes to The Game.
Off the ice, there’s nothing but uncertainty. His life has been in a holding pattern and it’s time to move on. Which might be easier without the lifestyle that has lost its appeal. As much as he loved training subs, he’s tired of giving his all only to go home alone.
Tragedy once brought him closer to Sahara Dionne, the exquisite, yet fragile Ice Girl, but when her abusive-ex darkens her path once again, Dominik can’t help but wonder if his friendship might not be the best thing for her.
But she craves his touch, his dominance, and his possession. Everything he desires is finally within his reach.
All he has to do is take the shot.

I love Dominik and Sahara
I absolutely love this series. Whenever I read one of The Dartmouth Cobras' books, I just want to keep going and going and going. I don't want the book to end. I love how all the previous books' characters appear in each book. I love the camaraderie of the players and how accepting they all are of one another.
This story is Dominik and Sahara's. Dominik and Sahara have had feelings for each other for a while, but Dominik was still dealing with his feelings after the end of his relationship with Oriana and didn't feel ready to start anything new. And Sahara was healing both physically and emotionally after coming out of an abusive relationship. But in this story, the time is right for both of them to start looking to their future.
The only thing I have trouble with regarding these books, is having to wait until the next one. I just finished the book and yet I miss they guys already.

Enjoyed this one like all cobras books. In my mind it has a lot of open questions, so I think it's a cliff hanger. But for sommerland a cliffhanger is great. All our cobras favs and couples are featured in the story so it's also a catch up
