Nothing new.
If you have read a book that suggests a schedule for your baby then there is nothing new in this book. I brought it as google seemed to tell me it was a gentle approach to sleep coaching. In reality it's a 'gentle' CIO book where you stay in the room with baby and comfort them by patting & shhing, but not to much. What is to much? No idea. The book warns against developing another sleep crutch to your already confused baby but never identifies what to much is. Also if your baby is fighting you about going to bed good luck shhing over the noise your baby is making.
The book also centres around the 'sleep lady shuffle'. This idea is not new, or anything amazing, or anything you probably aren't doing anyway. Start next to the cot and gradually move away. I'm sure as a parent you've been doing this anyway.
This book is not worth the $25. I wish I hadn't wasted my money.
