Publisher Description

A New York Times Bestseller, Got Fight? is an hysterical, entertaining, and in-your-face guide to fighting from the most enigmatic and unpredictable fighter in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). Forrest Griffin is the light-heavyweight champion of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and was the winner of the first season of Spike TV’s The Ultimate Fighter; in Got Fight?, he shows you how he did it. With Erich Krauss, Muay Thai fighter and co-author of “The Prodigy” B.J. Penn’s Mixed Martial Arts: The Book of Knowledge.

Forget Zen masters and flowery prose. This is Forrest Griffin’s brutally honest guide to:
Fighting Humor: Learn why shitting yourself at Dollywood builds character, pass the infamous ‘Manliness Test,’ and get Forrest’s take on everything from cauliflower ear to fighting drunk.Fight Training: Discover a training philosophy built on grit, not gimmicks, and find out why toughness can beat technique when you’re too stupid to back down.Weight Cutting Advice: Get a no-BS approach to making weight that involves Pedialyte, sweet potatoes, and the very real risk of shitting yourself in the ring.Supersecret Techniques: Master the unstoppable ‘Asian Dart’ and other supersecret (and highly questionable) techniques that probably won’t work but are guaranteed to make you laugh.

The dumb humor this book beholds is an excellent addition to the surprisingly helpful information given from start to finish. Pure laughs and constant grinning is inevitable, in a book which both Forrest and Erich undoubtedly had a great time writing. From the hilarious anecdotes of Forrest's life to the technical and serious tips of both MMA and a good old street fight, this book seems to cover it all and capture the readers attention. It is unique, which is a fresh change from the serious side of sports stars autobiographies, and by the end, it is utterly disappointing, only due to the fact that you wish there was more.
