Great Debates of American Civil rights

This book is primarily a collection of undergraduate essays completed in conjunction with an immersive course on the American Civil Rights movement.  The course included a one week bus tour of major civil rights sites in:  Marshall, Texas; Little Rock, Arkansas; Philadelphia, Mississippi; Selma, Alabama; Memphis, Tennessee; and Jackson, Mississippi.  This papers focus on a variety of historical and contemporary matters relating to the course material.
