About the author

Patrick McMahon has worked as a teacher, a teacher trainer, a lecturer and materials writer in the UK and around the world. His recent work in the field of EAP includes teaching, lecturing, and carrying out research into international students at British universities. Patrick is currently Academic Manager in the English Language Centre at Plymouth University.
