Publisher Description

One day, on his way home from shopping, Grug finds his path blocked by a fallen tree.
Grug walks around the tree, but then he can’t see the path. He keeps walking, but he’s never been into this part of the forest before.
The forest is very dark. And the trees begin to look like faces. Then a wallaby rushes past. Grug is frightened!
Although he is very scared, he is also very tired. He closes his eyes and soon he is asleep.
When he wakes up, he can see some light coming through the tall trees. He walks towards it.
Soon Grug is out in the open. Then he sees Cara’s hollow log. ‘Not far to go now,’ says Grug.
Safe in his burrow, Grug is very happy. ‘There’s no place like home,’ he says.

When Grug was walking home with shopping he saw a fallen over tree. Grug walked around then he got lost, he got scared in a very dark forest.
My favourite part about Grug Gets Lost was when Grug got lost in the forest and he saw faces on the trees. It was a little bit scary when i saw eyes in the forest.
Grug slept until he could hear a strange sound. He woke up and some food was missing from his basket. He found his way home because it was day. He was happy at home and he cooked dinner.

Grug was walking home from shoping he came to a tree that was blocking the path. He came to a dark forest and he saw eyes poking out, it was scary. The trees started to pull faces, he was so frightened and then he saw a wallaby rushing home. Then Grug fell asleep, when Grug was asleep the wallaby ate some of his food. Grug could see light and he walked home and past a small log. Then he made himself dinner at home.

I liked when Grug was frightened because the trees looked like faces. It was scary when the wallaby jumped past because he was going home. It was naughty when the wallaby ate Grug's food when he was asleep.
