Hegadus

HEGADUS- a novel about legends, the women who form them and how their myths are recanted from one generation to another. Ancient Europe tells the legend of Petra, a girl brought to earth by the mighty Turul bird - a girl we learn is from much humbler beginnings. Across the ages we hear one version of the tale after another, as Petra goes on an odyssey to return a casket with mysterious properties to her fallen village. Aided by an ancient old sage of the woods, adventure, danger and the coming of age will all unfold. Between the lines of this legend, we shall find a more compelling mystery.
