This had a good and interesting story line, but I couldn’t quite feel the love between the two main characters. The conversations between Forge and Gage were rather clunky and written in such a way that it felt as though the information and reminiscences they shared was written, or rather, pounded home, for the benefit of the reader. Instead of just two men, in love, sharing their thoughts, it felt as though the author didn’t trust the readers to draw their own conclusions but had to have the information awkwardly pointed out to them.
