Her Favorite Bad Influence

She spent her entire life inside a gilded cage. But the woman hired to fix her image might just be the one to set her free.

Evelyn Hart is the perfect daughter. As the communications director for her father’s high-stakes Senate reelection campaign, she knows exactly how to smile for donors, wear the right tight chignon, and perform flawless damage control. But when a grainy photograph surfaces of her leaving DC’s hottest sapphic nightclub, her carefully curated world faces a structural collapse.

Enter Sabrina “Bri” Vale.

Bri is Washington’s premier crisis manager—sharp, unapologetic, and hyper-competent. She knows exactly how to spin a narrative and erase evidence. Her job description is simple: contain the fallout, soften Evelyn’s untouchable image, and make the scandal go away.

But from the moment they step into a cramped Georgetown fitting room, the professional boundaries begin to smoke. Underneath Evelyn's rigid armor, Bri recognizes a brilliant woman suffocating under the weight of someone else's script. And underneath Bri’s tactical composure, Evelyn finds a fierce, devastating warmth she has spent a lifetime denying herself.

With only four weeks until Election Day, every secret meeting in the dark of Adams Morgan carries career-ending stakes. As her mother pushes for strategic appearances with a pre-approved donor's son, Evelyn is forced to make an impossible choice: preserve the family legacy or tear down the frame to choose something real.

Her Favorite Bad Influence is a scorching, high-stakes contemporary sapphic romance featuring an intense ice queen awakening, sizzling forced proximity, and a slow-burn connection that proves some rules are begging to be broken.
