The story of William Martin

William Martin spent his childhood through the nineteen twenties, had his young adult life interrupted by war, then came back to live a life he was meant to live. William was gay and throughout his life he hid it from everyone who knew him and even denied it to himself. His nephew Charles lets us join him and through his uncle's memoirs we discover a life of laughter, love, sorrow and struggles. Charles uses his uncle's words of wisdom to help him through a difficult time for his family and find a better understanding of his past.
