This is the first in a multi-volume series which describes the history of Arizona. This volume begins with an account of early Spanish explorations of the territory and continues through the exploration of wagon roads throughout the area in the mid-1800s, as well as the use of camels for transportation. The work also contains multiple photographs of notable citizens of Arizona.
