Publisher Description
In the beginning, this was a standalone. But our heroes (and we use that term loosely), August Morrison and Ricardo Torralba, weren't satisfied with just one story. Sooo our "standalone" morphed into a five-book series, and here we are.
The adventure begins when August and Ricardo – hired guns and professional rivals – are pitted against each other and ultimately have to work together. They are, of course, displeased by this, but given that they made us write five books instead of one, they deserve it. So there.
Buckle up for all kinds of enemies to lovers mayhem, endless snark, hare-brained shenanigans, and some sweet moments amidst all the chaos and explosions.
The roller coaster includes:
Hitman vs. HitmanSniper vs. SpotterKiller vs. KingpinCop vs. CapoIn-Laws vs. Outlaws
All five books are also available individually. This is an M/M romantic suspense series, and fans of L.J. Hayward and Alice Winters will love the assassin duo featuring a grumpy special forces veteran and the irreverently sunshine billionaire who drives him up a wall. Come for the enemies to lovers, stay for the feels. And explosions.
Customer Reviews
From hitmen to lovers.
This collection on stories about August and Ricardo certainly gave me many hours of reading.
They start off hating each other but gradually things change and they begin to fall in love. They’re as different as chalk from cheese, but it works.
The series of five stories was more like one continuous story, each one with a recurring enemy. I think I would have liked each story to be completely different from the next with a different theme but all in all, the stories were very entertaining. The two main characters were great together, funny, serious, loving, each having the other’s back.
Well worth reading.
