Sir Pelham Grenville Wodehouse (1881-1975) was an English author who worked in the field of humorous fiction. He began his writing career with the book for school kids. Eventually the list of topics he wrote about widened and included stories about golf, and local clergymen. Wodehouse spent most of his life in the USA but his works are usually set in England. Wodehouse had his own method of  writing: before he started writing a book he made a lot of notes to serve as the basic material.
