PROSPERITY comes not by chance but in accordance with absolute law. Charles Fillmore has said: "The law of supply is a divine law. This means that it is a law of mind and must work through mind." In other words, the peace, health, and plenty of prosperity must come through prosperous thinking. The mind can be trained to think prosperously in simple, delightful ways, and the results of prosperous thinking are also delightful, practical, and satisfying.



The law of increase is what all people are seeking to invoke in one way or another. The universal desire for increase is nothing more than man's innate divinity seeking expression as fuller good in his life. Every man instinctively feels it and instinctively responds to some extent. All people are seeking more or better food, clothes, homes, beauty, knowledge, leisure, pleasure, luxury—increase in something. And rightly so! A normal desire for increased good is not to be condemned or suppressed. It is divine.
