Hoyle's Games

Featuring an autographed cover, this extensive volume was written by Edmond Hoyle, famous board and card game author. Known for his volumes of game rules and strategies, Hoyle's guides are still published today. The author became such an authority on the subject that the phrase "according to Hoyle..." was very common in the 19th and early 20th centuries when the specifics of game rules came into question.
