[Once upon a time,

beyond a shadow of a doubt,

I left no stone un-turned.

There was never a dull moment

through the winds of change

nor the sands of time.

Yes, I will remain as cool as a cucumber,

either by hook or by crook,

as I stand behind the eight ball

while crying over spilled milk.

Alas, I will give the devil his due,

and this will not fall on deaf ears

as I sweat like a pig

and run like the wind.
