Entertaining
I’m not a huge fan of YA/NA but I have read a number of books by Monica Murphy which I enjoyed. There are some elements that may be a trigger to some readers so please check the content warnings. There is also some bullying romance which is something I don’t normally read or enjoy.
This is Carolina and West’s story and it will draw you in and hold you captive. I fell hard and fast for West, there was something about him that I was drawn to. Their love story is a rocky journey and yet it is one that the author encourages you to believe in.
From start to finish I became invested in the story that Ms. Murphy wove. It is well written, dark, steamy and at times emotional.
