Publisher Description
The reality we experience is what our minds create from the electrical signals we receive through our senses, like our sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch. Normal is generally considered to be the way the majority act. Our realities may seem normal to us, but what if normal changes? Will we change with it?
This collection of stories journeys through many realities, some where people communicate with nature, or the world suddenly acts bizarrely. Through the author’s effort to destigmatise mental disorders, the reader gets a taste of what it would feel like if the laws of the world were different.
Every time someone looks down on abnormal behaviour, they should instead imagine what it would feel like if that awkward behaviour was the norm and that the onlookers are the ones who are acting irrationally. Through this shift in perspective, compassion can be learned.
It takes one faulty electrical link in our brains to change our worlds and whether it’s real or not, we can never know for sure.
