INTRODUCTION THE FIRST DECADE OF THE INFORMATION AGE should have been a boon for commercial real estate, and no other segment of the industry could have benefited more than the next generation. Undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in real estate programs have more tools and opportunities than previous generations, but classroom observations and employer sentiment suggest that current students increasingly struggle with an emerging set of information age problems.
