From the best-selling author of PRINCESS DIARIES comes this supernatural romance with real bite…
Sick of hearing about vampires? So is Meena Harper.
Meena Harper is familiar with the supernatural. After all, she knows how you're going to die (Not that you're going to believe her. No one ever does.)
But not even Meena's precognition can prepare her for Lucien Antonescu—who she meets and then makes the mistake of falling in love with—a modern-day prince with a bit of a dark side for which an ancient society of vampire hunters would prefer to see him dead.
The problem is Lucien's already dead. Maybe that's why he's the first guy Meena's ever met with whom she could imagine herself having a future. See, while Meena's always been able to see everyone else's destiny, she's never been able look into her own. Lucien seems to be everything Meena has ever dreamed of in a boyfriend, though he might turn out to be more of a nightmare.
So now would be a good time for Meena to start learning to predict her own future . . . if she has one.
"Cabot, adored for her Princess Diaries series and Heather Wells mysteries, holds her own in the crowded paranormal arena, proving that she is truly a versatile, entertaining writer."
"No one quite brings the sexy-times like Meg Cabot. Especially when she takes on the world of vampires in Insatiable."

About the author
Meg Cabot is a #1 New York Times bestselling author of books for both adults and tweens/teens. Born and raised in Bloomington, Indiana, Meg also lived in Grenoble, France and Carmel, California before moving to New York City after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from Indiana University. Meg wrote the Princess Diaries series, which was made into two hit movies by Disney, sold over 16 million copies, and has been translated into 38 languages. Meg Cabot (her last name rhymes with habit, as in “her books can be habit forming”) currently lives in Key West with her husband and two cats.
Cabot (Princess Diaries) winningly applies her trademark likably fallible protagonists and breezy storytelling to a vampire war in New York City. TV writer Meena Harper creates fabulous plots for Insatiable, the second-highest rated soap opera, thanks to her burdensome if lucrative psychic ability to see into the future and determine how people are going to die. And just as Insatiable is switching to a vampire theme to attract a younger demographic, a spate of chilling murders-by-exsanguination grips New York City. Enter Lucien Antonescu, a sexy, melancholic Romanian history professor/vampire who recognizes that the murders are the work of rogue vampires who have broken away from his order. (Lucien happens to be the son of Vlad the Impaler, whom Bram Stoker gave such a bad rep.) Lucien's opposition: Alaric Wulf, a sympathetic detective from the Palatine Guard, who hopes to use Meena and her prophetic gift to stop the murders and track down Lucien. Unfortunately for Alaric, Meena is a little in love with Lucien. Cabot is less concerned with creating a convincing family tree for Lucien than with creating sparks between her characters, who feel pleasantly natural even as they live alongside the vampires next door. \n
Very enjoyable read
Insatiable was a bit slow on the uptake and if you can get over the 'corniness' of some of the terminology, it's a really great read.
I was hooked mid way through and couldn't put it down. There were quite a few twists and turns. I can't wait to read overbite and have just purchased it. If your looking for an escape then this is a great book to go away with.
Amazing book, defiantly worth a read
