A New Western, Southern Gothic, Mystery, Romance that defies classification.

Wyatt, an isolated self-contained artist, finds he is out of ideas despite his vast inner life. When he unexpectedly starts chatting with Whiteflower, an outlier from a fading social circle, he considers the idea of collaboration again after previous failed attempts in his personal, business, and artistic lives. They quickly discover that they are both highly empathetic with intense aversions to narcissistic behavior - their pain only mitigated by dark humor. When The Donald, a predatory voyeur and old neighbor of Wyatt shows up again, the two have found a new project and bond further. With their power to see rather than just look, they decide it is time to "act." Initially set in the Southwest, the story moves from reality to fantasy, settling on the eastern slope of the Appalachians. It is there they find that The Triad is not just a place, but a state of mind. Ultimately, they must decide: continue fighting the darkness or appreciate what they have found in each other.
