Highly recommended series
Surviving Ice is the fourth and last installment in the series. We had a hard time putting this book down, We've loved Ivy since meeting her in Burying Water. K.A Tucker's writing is dangerously addictive. Each story in the Burying Water series is descriptive and filled with mystery and angst, a perfect combination. The raw emotions of each of these characters will keep you captivated and not wanting to put this book down until you have read from cover to cover.
Ivy is never normally in one place for too long, she's always jet setting. She has settled in San Francisco working in her Uncle’s tattoo shop with the idea of staying for good. That is until her uncle gets murdered in the shop, now she can't wait to get out of there. First things first she needs to sort out the shop and her uncles house.
Sebastian is an ex Navy SEAL working for an old friend at a security company. He is finally back on home soil after years abroad, he has a job to do. Ivy is his next job, all he needs to do is go in and get what he needs using any means necessary.
As he works to find what he needs the unexpected happens, something that has never happened before. He is drawn to and connects with Ivy, something he hasn't felt with someone in a long time. Ivy isn't the easiest person to get to know but the walls she's kept up piece by piece are slowly coming down.
Ivy is feisty, independent and strong, like Sebastian she can read people. She knows he is keeping something from her she just can't figure out what it is.

Lines become blurred the more Sebastian gets to know Ivy, the deep their connection the more he digs to uncover the truth and protect her. The more Ivy opens up herself and her heart to Sebastian the more she realises he is hiding something from her. The truth could destroy them and what they have together or it could get them killed…

Oh my wow I (Kristy) can't begin to tell you how much I enjoyed this book. It's actioned packed and fast packed. Filled with mystery, angst, suspense, romance and heart pounding moments that will consume you. K.A Tucker is definitely one of those authors you want to drop everything and read. Surviving Ice finishes the series with a bang. I would definitely highly recommend this series.
This book can be read as a standalone.
