Melbourne author Jodi McAlister has continuous fun with reality TV tropes in this warm, conversational romcom, which also touches on diversity, celebrity and anxiety. Best Bachelor Romance Ever
Loved it!
A sweet story with all the feels
I was delighted to find that this story didn’t quite unfold the way I anticipated. I was expecting to enjoy it, and ended up loving it. It is quite a rollercoaster of emotions, with this book provoking almost every one by the end. The effects of the pandemic is a feature in the story, but covid itself is not. I am really looking forward to the second in this series ‘Can I steal you for a second’, which seems to be set almost in parallel to this first.
