Reese is a cutthroat businesswoman…
An overbearing and a cantankerous mess! She's snarly, blunt, moody, and totally in my face…and I'm ticked off that it turns me on!
I moved to Sausalito to escape the memories of Lyla. I have reasons for living my life the way I do. I enjoy the simple things in life; A job well done, a glass of whiskey, and the occasional piping-hot night tangled in the sheets with no strings attached. I don't need a beautiful strawberry-blonde princess sticking her nose in my business and pushing every one of my buttons.
I try to run her off, but she fights dirty. She has to leave, it will never work. Too bad I want her to stay.

Wow! I so loved Jameson’s continued story!
I recommend that Gypsy be read before this book as this is more of a two-part epic love story and has lots of tie-ins to it throughout.
Jameson is trying to move on after losing Lyla and has moved to California. When he meets a feisty, attractive woman who he will have to deal with for business he is taken aback by the feelings he is feeling. Is it possible for him to fall in love so quickly twice in a lifetime and is he willing to take a leap of faith and see what this relationship could become?
This is a must-read for fans of epic love stories!! Great story and I was so happy that Jameson found his way out of the darkness.
I voluntarily read a copy of this book for an honest review.
I really enjoyed Jameson's story, but I feel you need to read "Gypsy" first to fully appreciate it. He has suffered so much heartache that he deserves to get a little love and happiness. Really liked the dog's name, such a cute tie in. All the books in this series are full of great characters and packed with emotions. A great read.
