Wow

This is difficult to read, because of the complexity of the language and content, but if you are prepared to take it slowly, it is an unparalleled and wonderful insight into the Saviour, his life and role in the Plan of Salvation. I especially loved the insights into the parables, and the atonement. James E. Talmage is a brainiac !... He makes the Man, the times and places come alive. His historical knowledge of the time is also extremely comprehensive and interesting, he must have had a PhD in history !

P.s. best to read it alongside the New Testament gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, as a reference book, or alone if you are already familiar with them.
