Journey to the Center of the Earth 2

It was supposed to be the golden years for America. They had finally gotten a handle on many of the economic problems that had been plaguing them as a nation. Prosperity was everywhere.

So if everything was so hunky dory, then why were the environmentalists hollering as if the world were about to end.

An earthquake so vast and comprehensive that the entire world is shaken to its core causes the deaths of millions across the continents. America and its fellow nations rush a team to discover what the mysterious signals coming from inside the planet have to do with the Great Quake of 2024 that has wrought so much damage and death.

The team has a mission: Discover who caused the quake and if necessary, eliminate them!

The Eiffel Tower has fallen. Big Ben is destroyed. The Empire State Building is rubble. The Taj Mahal is scattered across acres of land. San Francisco is under water, as is Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Seattle and Portland.

There are no more Hawaiian Islands, no more Japan. The coast of China is series of islands.

A disaster of such magnitude that it came close to being a life ending event for the population of earth.

Now a team of crack Special Forces, comprised of top scientists and military personnel, is headed inside the Earth towards a location believed to be the source of all the destruction. Their intent is to prevent a second Big Quake which could very well be the end of all life on planet Earth. Their ability to survive the Journey to the Center of the Earth remains to be seen.
