New York Times bestselling author Christina Dodd’s Lost Hearts series…
Mystery and misery scarred their young lives. Three sisters and their foster brother, torn apart by tragedy and scattered across the country to grow up alone, without the loving family they had known…
Oldest sister Hope Prescott lives in Boston, far from the warm, southern home she recalled. She works hard with one goal in mind — finding her lost siblings and reuniting her family. Yet her job at the answering service and her loving nature creates a family of friends, people she knows only by their voices. She especially likes Griswald, gruff old butler for wealthy Zack Givens.
Meeting Griswald is a shock; he is neither gruff nor old, but a powerful, handsome man. In fact, he is Zack Givens, cold, heartless — and charmed by the artless young woman who brings him chicken soup, treats him like a friend … and falls in love with the humble man she imagines him to be. Inevitably, she will face his betrayal. Then can Zack solve the mystery that haunts Hope's past to prove their futures lie together?

A little over the top
So, it's not bad, but you would do well to clear your mind of any expectations of reality. There's no fairies or goblins popping up, but there are several moments that leave reality a bit stretched out of shape. The thru story of the family has me interested, but unfortunately $7ea for the next two books seems a bit steep for what they are to me. I'd probably cave and buy them if they were in a cheaper bundle, but my curiosity's not quite enough otherwise.
This rating isn't for the story. Which I cannot read. I bought this ebook eagerly anticipating a good story. Only to open it and become confounded as the ebook I received was the second book of the series. Almost Like Being in Love. Got out and checked the cover. Yes I did purchase Just The Way You Are. But didn't get the right story. Would really love to actually get the book I purchased.
