Nine-year-old Katy, so intrigued, was propelled into another realm of existence, making friends with Dominic, Art and Silky. On losing the Emerald Key that had magical powers, they faced a journey fraught with danger and peril from the Huccanite warriors who ruled the planet and Marble Mountain, which had murky foul-smelling pools where ill souls were imprisoned with no way to escape. Hucan, the leader, had other ideas for the lost souls living in fear of the greedy fish that surrounded them. However, they were given hope when Art landed himself beside them.
