Great secondary characters!
Talk about packing a punch; this story had so much going on, I don’t know where to start.
While the book may be called Kellen’s Tempting Mate; Kellen finally capitulating to the mate bond he has resisted for years, merely sets the foundation for the myriad of ripple effects their eventual pairing imparts on the paranormal world.
Besotted hybrid Vampire twins, an evil power hungry turned Vamp, and an endearing, sassy and loveable Fey, make this a captivating story with so many possible future scenarios to come from their introduction to the Iron Wolves world.
And while Kellen and Laikyn’s story needed to be told, and their relationship sets the groundwork for the fallout events; I was more intrigued by the new paranormal elements and finding out if the enchanting Jennaveve really is Damien and Lucas` mate.
Hopefully we will find out more about the gorgeous Thor-like Cordell twins, the vivacious Jennaveve and the mysterious Arie, who is also a hybrid day walker, infatuated by the Vampire princes and in service to the Vampire throne, as the series progresses.

So despite my rating it is t a bad book. But it didn’t flow from the last book of the series. Lake was leaving for good and said goodbye and drive out of town. Start of this book I’ve decided to move back home... the author obviously has learnt a new word with the eidetic memory so every second person has it now and yet it’s rare. If they cleaned these things up it would be better.
