Publisher Description
Andrew Fraser's bestselling and controversial true-crime memoirs are now being adapted into an exciting new television series called Killing Time! After being convicted and disbarred, Fraser became the confidant of one of Australia's most notorious serial killers, Peter Dupas. What he learned made him the Homicide Squad's secret weapon. Angry at his treatment in jail and at his excessive sentence, the long-time defence lawyer enjoyed the irony of his situation: the authorities who destroyed his career now needed his cooperation. There was never any doubt that Andrew would give evidence, even though he knew that the defence would try to destroy his credibility, dredging up the past he so desperately wanted to forget. Fraser paints a vivid picture of the grim, terrifying and futile reality of maximum security prison life and of his time spent with the murderers, psychopaths and paedophiles. Lunatic Soup relates his harrowing experiences of the justice system, as a prisoner, and on the stand as a witness in a murder trial.

Good read
Interesting reading given, like most people living in Melbourne I recall many of the events referred to being played out in the public eye. Cant help but feel this book is one sided, but then again it is Andrew writing from his point of view, about his experience. I picked this up after watching the Killing Time series. Interesting to read how twisted some members of our society can clearly be and still be allowed to roam free once their time is served, regardless of how obvious their threat remains.
Killing time: lunatic soup
Another great book by Mr Fraser, loved it.
Bitterly disappointed.
Wish I had never wasted money on their hypocritical ill-informed piece of trash. Makes outlandish comments with no substance to back it up. As a lawyer I embarrassed by this man's idiocy.
