Night. A time of quiet, of peace, of rest, and now, a time of terror.
With an uncontrolled vampire plaguing the city, the Vampire Council of Brenton once again calls on Darien Ritter for help.
Overwhelmed with the issues of a new menagerie and plans for his wedding, Darien still manages to step up and answer the call. The only problem is, he suddenly finds himself a little too… human.
Darien Ritter is having some problems. For one, he gets the flu - but vampires don’t get sick. Something crazy is going on. It’s almost like he is human again. But that’s impossible!
For another, there’s a rogue vampire running around Brenton attacking people. He has to be stopped now. But it seems the rogue vampire has a vendetta against Darien. The question is, a human Darien beat him?
Another fantastic read in the series. The author clears up the few unanswered questions from the previous books (and creates a few new ones!)
