But Knight has a dark past and just as he desires Anya for exactly who she is, he fears when she finds out exactly the man he has become and always intends to be, she’ll leave him for good, normal and clean.

Good read
Good book, though I did struggle with him being so controlling (the book came with a warning so I read it knowing this - I got hooked by the sample and pushed through the bits that didn’t sit right with me). It weirded me out her calling him daddy and the writing had many instances of repetition. A lot of whispered words which was unrealistic and became irritating. Despite this I could hardly put the book down.

I loved it! Anya was kickass, and Knight is definitely as alpha as they come and man he was a sweetheart *sigh*
“Wars fought over a face like this,” he murmured like he was talking to himself. My heart stopped beating and his thumbs moved lightly across my cheeks. “A man would work himself into the ground for it, go down to his knees to beg to keep it, endure torture to protect it, take a bullet for it,” his gaze came to mine, “poison his brother to possess a face like this.”. And Viv I absolutely freaking loved she was a BF everyone wants.
