My kids love this book! Great story telling, beautiful illustrations, we love the Aussie vibe with the use of Australian animals.

Finding suitable and relevant educational books for my children has always been tough, especially given the amount of choice on the Apple Book Store. But stumbling across this beautifully-drawn, light-hearted and fun romp to find ‘Kyah’s Missing Sock’ has given me hope that more home-grown, Aussie-specific titles will continue to become available.

Incorporating actual facts about our cherished Australian fauna (which even I wasn’t aware of, let alone my kids), the book takes your little ones on a journey with Kyah, to find her favorite missing red sock. Along the way, she encounters and interacts with some of our favorite mammals, such as a Kangaroo, Echidna, Wombat, Kookaburra, and pretty any other furry Aussie face you can think of.

My kids absolutely love me reading this book to them, and even though it was only released a week ago at the time of this review, they’ve made me read it every night since it hit our iPad. I also found out there’s a physical version on its way, so make sure to order that if you prefer a more tactile version. A must-own for an Aussie toddlers!
