“Nah, not on the back of one clinging to some asshole. I mean, have you ever driven one? By yourself?”

He took me by the hand and I could feel the rough calluses of a man who hadn’t been afraid to put in hard work a day in his life. Some women found movie stars with soft girly hands attractive. I found Dusty’s particular flavor of manliness to be much more endearing, however. Don’t get me wrong, he was probably handsome enough to cut it in the movie business if the circumstances of life had landed some other way for him, but there was a grittiness that also accompanied that attractiveness. An edge, if you will. Wrap that up in a leather jacket and put it on a hog and surely you can see how seductive that becomes.
