A series of six lectures on Freemasonry given by Bro John Ellis when he was the Master of the St Mary's Caledonian Operative Lodge, Inverness in 1885. Many of Bro Ellis's views are relevant still today, but the lectures also give an insight into what the current thinking was in that period of our history.
