Beautiful Writing
Dan Abnett at it again with delicious scene building, lovely timeline management, all making another love note to the 40k Universe.
An absolutely stellar novel
Dan Abnett really hit it out of the park with this one. It's clear he did his research on covert operations, subterfuge, guerrilla warfare and so on before writing this book. It will keep you on the edge of your seat, thinking you've worked out what's going on behind the scenes before being blindsided yet again by another shocking revelation. 5/5, would recommend even to people unfamiliar with WH40k
