Light to Dark

A short semi-autobiographical story of a young black boy growing up in the urban sprawl of North London. Desperate to make something of himself in a white man’s world, he soon realises the limits of colour. Allowing perceived acts of racism to consume his every thought, he makes a series of life choices that lead to devastating consequences.
