Lizzie Tempest Ruins A Viscount
I like the story of this book but don't like the way it's been described. The first thing came into my mind after a few chapters is "hateful"even though it's a funny story with lots of mistakes, strong friendships and love.
So hard to follow
The author writes as if the reader should already know all the characters.
Was there a prequel to this book that I missed? That’s how it felt as I slogged my way through the haphazard and disjointed journey the author took me on.
Jumping from place to place without apparent reason was bad enough but throughout the book, new names would appear, no introduction, no back story, no information on how this new character ‘fits’ into the story. The reader has to keep reading to pull together loose threads to place new characters within the story.
The main characters were ok but I didn’t get to know them very well either so found it hard to connect with them and be invested in their story.
