Scalzi's characters possess tangible motivations and inhabit a thoroughly believable world, and the growing partnership between Shane and Vann is a pleasure to watch unfold. This powerful novel will intrigue and entertain both fans and newcomers.

Scalzi doesn't disappoint
John Scalzi further cements himself as a master Sci-Fi writer with his latest novel, Lock-In.
Originally released with the first 5 chapters plus exclusive prologue/oral-history available online, Scalzi has a beautifully thought out universe with all the nuances you would expect to arise from a community of people stuck in their own bodies, immobile.
Scalzi's sense of humour bleeds through without being too obtrusive and it really makes the book that much more enjoyable to read.
Definitely worth getting.
