Lost and Found

Jesus said that He had come to seek and to save that which was lost. What does it mean to be lost? Pink shows that this term refers to all the tragic results of the fall. Christ has come seeking those who did not seek for Him, and His mission will be successful! Pink illustrates this in the lives of Abraham, Jacob, Moses, and Saul of Tarsus. God takes great joy in rescuing His lost sheep. "Oh, what holy satisfaction is His each time He sees of the travail of His soul! How His heart is gladdened whenever He secures another of those who were given to Him by the Father!"
