It’s 1967 and four freshmen at the University of Wisconsin have become close friends. Like the rest of the counter culture, they are repulsed by the Vietnam War and they reject their parents’ way of life. These four baby boomers vow to make the world a better place—but is the boomer generation going to be a bust?
David, Peter, Dizzy, and Janine graduate college poised to build a better America. They each embark on what will turn out to be momentous careers. Will they succeed or will human nature lure them away from their intended paths?
The baby boomer generation has overseen the deepest economic downturn since the Great Depression. Our vaunted infrastructure is in shambles. Our debt is mountainous. Politics has devolved into chaos.
