Entertaining
I really enjoy reading romantic suspense stories and Lost Cause was a good example of the genre. Lex Blackwell is an FBI agent, he is driven, focused, and determined to take down the bad guys.
With his current case, he is focused on arresting Francis Lyon, a head of a crime ring and when the opportunity arises, he arrests him along with his daughter, Francesca "Frankie" Lyon.
From that moment on, his life as he knew it is about to change. The sparks most certainly fly between these two, in fact you could almost say they sizzled. From the first chapter I was invested in the story that Ms. Faber wove.
Their journey to love and happiness was not smooth, but it was certainly entertaining and one that I thoroughly enjoyed.
